Death Notice
George A. Pelcher, 31, of Huntington,
W.VA., and formerly of Westerly, a painter, died last Wednesday at home in what
the local police are describing as a homicide.
Born in South Kingstown RI, a son of David A. Pelcher Sr. of New port richey,
Fla., and GeorgeAnna M. ( Shontell) Huntley of Westerly, RI.,
stepson of Barbara Pelcher of New port Richey, Fla., and Edward E. Huntley
Westerly, RI.
He had lived in Westerly before moving to West Virginia three years ago.
He was self-employed as a painter. He had previously been employed by Stop &
Shop Inc. in Narragansett and Westerly, RI.
Besides his Parents, he is
survived by a daughter, GeorgeAnna Marie Pelcher of Indiana; Five brothers,
David A. Pelcher Jr. of West Warwick RI, Timothy J Pelcher of Coventry, Mark A.
Pelcher and John F. Pelcher, Both of New Port Richey, FLA., Donald E. Hammond of
Westerly; Four sisters Mary Elizabeth ( Pelcher), Blake of Norwich, CT, Jennifer
Huntley, Heidi Roberts, and Heather Roberts, all of Westerly; His stepmother
Barbara Pelcher of New Port Richey; his stepfather Edward E. Huntley of
Westerly; and several nieces and nephews.
